Using the solution you
developed for Project No. 1, create a worksheet using Microsoft Excel.

Task

- Create a set
of equations based on your solution from Project No.1
- Create a
hand drawn version of your worksheet layout
- Convert your
equations into formulas, using your layout.
- Enter
values, formulas and labels into your worksheet and print out the
final result with formulas turned on (see note below).
- Use the following data:
- Distance: 1200 miles (total,
round-trip)
- Gas price: $2.00/gal
- Miles per gallon: 25 miles/gal
- Trip length: 10 days (9 nights)
- Motel: $75/night
- Meals: $35/day
- Submit:
- your list
of equations
- a copy of
your layout drawing
- your list
of formulas
- two copies
of your completed worksheet; one with formulas turned on and one with
formulas turned off

Notes

- Feel free to
do more than what is asked above, but note that if you do, you will
neither lose nor gain points for the extra work.
- To "turn on
formulas"
- From the
Tools menu choose Options ...
- Click on
the View tab
- Under
Window Options check Formulas
- Click on OK
- Adjust column widths as needed so
that formulas show correctly
